HOT MELT YARN

      To provide the titled coated yarn capable of bonding easily with heat, having excellent adhesive strength, and effective also for the reinforcing of the adherend, by applying an ethylenevinyl acetate copolymer resin layer to the circumference of a core yarn at a specific ratio.

CONSTITUTION

        The hot-melt adhesive coated yarn 3 having a fineness of preferably 400-6,000 denier is prepared by applying an ethylenevinyl acetate copolymer resin layer 2 having a vinyl acetate content of preferably 5-50wt% to the outer circumference of the core yarn 1 (e.g. monofilament or multi-filament of polyester, nylon, etc. having a fineness of 100-2,500 denier). The amounts of the core yarn and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin are 10-50wt% and 90-50wt%, respectively.

        Manufacture of tough film by bonding synthetic resin films with each other. The sealing, bonding, etc. of container, bag, etc.
